cook top, granite countertops and breakfast bar shared with
the casual dining area. Antique heart pine floors dotted
with oriental rugs adorn the living areas, as well as a
wood-burning fireplace, classic outdoor teak furniture and
oversized sofas. An abundance of artwork throughout the
home (many by local artists) adds a special touch. Down
comforters accent all beds, and the Bang & Olufsen stereo
sound system, wireless high speed Internet and 4 HDTV's
(Living Room, Master bedroom, Guest Bedroom with double
beds, Loft area), each with Blue-Ray disc player, are provided
for guest entertainment. Adjacent to the Master suite is
an Office/Den sitting room, ideal for extended computer
use, making business calls or quietly reading a book or
magazine. Three guest bedrooms and a full bath are upstairs,
as well as the loft area with sleeper sofa, TV and game
table.
The
Brazilian Ipe hardwood exterior decking system surrounds
the home, eliminating the possibility of slivers, and
includes a 36" stainless steel gas grill, perfect
for BBQ's overlooking the ocean. The private (10ft x 40
ft, heated at additional cost) Black Bottom Pool (3-5
ft deep) with waterfall spa is a luxury for any guest.
The pool filter employs a mild salt generation system
to virtually eliminate the “clorine effect”
on hair and skin. There is a private beach walkway to
2 additional sundecks, one octagonal for secluded sunbathing,
the other, literally on the beach, for relaxing and enjoying
sunrises, sunsets and dolphin watching. A truly special
