"Terrific house ... especially for multiple
families"

We stayed in 15 Belted Kingfisher for a week at
the end of September. This house far exceeded our
expectations. The newly remodeled kitchen was huge
and was well equipped. There was a super large gas
grill which made dinners easy. The house is so large
(the pictures just don't do it justice) with plenty
of room for multiple families to spread out. It
was very convenient to the beach ... a 3 minute
walk - with little ones. It is a great proximity
to biking to South Beach ... and pretty much everything
else! A quiet section of Sea Pines. We will definitely
re-rent this home in the future. Destination Vacation
is one of the best rental companies we have ever
rented with ... Greg Ellison was helpful from the
beginning of the process all the way to the end.
We had no problems during our stay, but if we had
I am certain they would have been very responsive.
A few notes to consider:
1) There is only one fridge, so keep this in mind
when stocking for multiple families. A cooler
for juice boxes and water worked well. And there
is a wine fridge which worked well for beer and
wine.
2) The pool was quite chilly in the end of September
- the kids didn't mind, but the adults hardly
made use of it. You may consider paying for the
pool heat.
3) The washing machine is a new High Efficiency
one, so keep this in mind when bringing laundry
detergent.

By far this was the nicest house we have ever stayed
in 17 visits to Hilton Head. Beautiful home newly
renovated.
