Pelican Street is a one-of-a-kind Tuscany style home with
magnificence in architecture and interior design. Custom
built in 2006 and located on a quiet cul de sac, this 6th
row Chateau is only a short walk to the Atlantic Ocean and

office and four bedrooms with a king, queen and two sets
of twin beds. All of the bedrooms on the main and second
floors have flat-screen televisions and private bathrooms.
The
garage level has a 6-car drive-through garage and a huge
game room with ping pong table and mounted flat screen
TV. This home also offers high-speed internet access.
With
well thought-out bedding, private insuite baths, 2 laundry
rooms and numerous indoor and outdoor amenities, this
home is perfect for your next family vacation, corporate
retreat or special time with friends.

We recently returned from a family reunion (20
people) held at Pelican's Perch. What a wonderful
house! Even with so many people, the house never
felt in the least crowded. The 8 children in
the group loved the pool, home theatre, backyard
'beach' and downstairs game room (as did the
adults). The bedrooms were all spacious and
comfortable, each with a private en suite bath.
The kitchen had every imaginable gadget needed..with
20 people eating in for most meals, the 2 dishwashers
were a blessing. (We also grilled outside by
the pool one evening.) Pelican is a quick walk
to the beach; we all enjoyed time in swimming
or just walking along the ocean every day. This
home gets our highest recommendation; everyone
in the family loved it. We hope to return soon!

Four generations were housed under one roof as
we gathered from Florida and New York. Words are
hard to find to express how great our week at
Pelican Perch was. I am very pleased that the
whole house was accessible to my 85 year old grandmother
and handicapped brother-in-law because of the
elevator. The huge kitchen was wonderful as we
made homemade yeast rolls, biscuits, and cinnamon
rolls. We will definitely be back next year!

Pelican Perch provided a perfect get-away house
for our vacation. We have rented several houses
at HHI over the past 8 years and this was by far
the best property. The owners spared no expense
in stocking the kitchen with all utensils, plates,
glasses, etc. Nice touches included a wagon for
the beach and an ice maker to fill the beach cooler.
The screened-in pool provided for a clean pool and
the trees on the property provided a peaceful /
quiet area. Destination Vacation was extremely responsive
to any call we made to them - very friendly and
helpful. Overall, an awesome experience! |
