24 Ruddy Turnstone is a gorgeous 3 bedroom home with 3.5 baths, private pool, screened-in porch, hardwood floors throughout, gourmet kitchen and superb location directly on the beach path only 4 rows from the beach. 24 Ruddy Turnstone’s attention to detail, quality construction and sunny pool (can be heated for additional fee) surrounded by lush landscaping with palm trees and live oaks will make an immediate first impression and live in your memory long after your vacation comes to an end!

The one-story floorplan is open and convenient for all ages. The gourmet kitchen features granite counters, stainless appliances, gas range, warming oven, microwave and 5 bar stools for casual dining. The adjacent dining room has seating for 8 guests and a view of the balcony on the back of the home. The kitchen and dining room open to the living room with upscale furniture, built-in bookshelves, custom stone fireplace and mounted 70” flat screen TV. The entire room shares gorgeous hardwood flooring and tray ceilings with impressive beams and moldings.

The hardwood floors extend to the bedrooms which include a spacious master suite with king bed, guest bedroom with 2 double beds and a guest bedroom with 2 queen beds. All three bedrooms have TV’s, closets and full baths with shower/tub combinations, tile floors and granite countertops. A separate kids TV area is located in the front of the home with large bean bag seats and a mounted flat screen TV, and the screened porch is also located in this area with a table and seating for 4, ceiling fan and scenic views of the pool and beach path.

We rented a home for the first week of summer break - first time with Destination Vacations. Website was easy to navigate and the homes were amazing. We loved our stay on Ruddy Turnstone. House was perfect for multiple adults and two elementary age kids. Easy walk to the beach and even easier to just walk right out and have a dip in the pool! Amenities in the home were above what I've gotten elsewhere, including high-end bath items and plenty of dish soap, trash bags, etc. Kitchen and cookware was outstanding - truly gourmet.

A call was placed to DV twice during our stay. Both times someone came quickly and solved the problem. Thank you. This is the fifth time in six years that we have stayed at 24 Ruddy Turnstone and we are planning to return to the same unit, during the same week in 2017. So I guess we like the unit, its features and location. We have vacationed ten+ other years, up and down the Carolinas coast and HHI is our favorite. Love the bike paths, restaurants, and activity variety. The unit has been very well maintained. The change to the living area that was done a couple of years ago, was a great improvement. We love the well stocked kitchen for cooking needs. Improvement suggestions? We drive two SUV's and the parking area is a little congested. Perhaps trimming back the shrubbery.

24 Ruddy Turnstone was a great home and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there! The open plan living area with kitchen, dining and family room space was beautiful. We loved it! The location is so nice, as well. We hope to return next year!
