11 Green Heron is a beautiful home that features 6 bedrooms, 6 baths, covered outdoor living room with ceiling fan, grilling station, private pool and spa and a location only 5 rows from Hilton Headï¿½s famed Atlantic Ocean beach! High end appointments can be found in every inch of the home, from flooring to countertops, custom cabinets, built-ins and crown molding, and are balanced with plush furniture and an open floorplan with 2 master suites and bedding for 14 guests.

The 1st floor of this home features travertine tile throughout the foyer, living room, kitchen and guest bedroom. The living room has a large sofa and four plush chairs with a large flat screen TV with stereo surround sound. This room is perfect for watching sporting events or movies in daytime or night. The first floor also features a Chefï¿½s kitchen with center island, granite countertops, stainless appliances, gas range, Keurig and regular coffee makers and separate wine cooler. A guest bedroom with queen bed, mounted TV, closet and full bath with walk-in shower, hallway laundry area with full size washer and dryer and access to the 2-car garage complete the first floor.

Mid-way up the staircase is a landing with a sleeper sofa and a master suite with king bed and mounted flat screen TV, private balcony overlooking the swimming pool and master bath with double vanities, separate tub and large walk-in shower. The full second floor of the home features four bedrooms, 2nd laundry room and a landing with a futon. The first bedroom is a master suite with king bed, mounted flat screen TV, furnished balcony with table, chairs and chaise lounges overlooking the pool and master bath with double vanities, separate tub and walk-in shower. The second bedroom features a king bed, mounted flat screen TV and full bath with tub/shower combination. The third bedroom, features a set of twin beds, mounted flat screen TV and full bath with tub/shower combination, and the fourth bedroom features a queen bed, mounted flat screen TV and full bath with tub/shower combination. All 6 bedrooms and both master bathrooms have ceiling fans for your convenience.

We have rented homes on HH thru Destination Vacation multiple times. As always, we were not disappointed. The house was clean / ready upon our arrival. We chose this home again because the kitchen / eating area is great for our family of 13 since we eat all meals in. The pool continued to be a big hit with everyone plus the short walk to the beach was appreciated. As mentioned, we stayed in this home before (2 years ago) We did feel it could use a little touch up of paint in areas, although we understand the amount of traffic that passes thru in a summer. We will continue to look to Destination Vacation when we are ready to plan our next trip to Hilton Head.

I have rented from Destination Vacations for approximately 8 years and have always been extremely satisfied with their customer service. Mailing the parking passes and keys weeks early is extremely helpful as it enables me to mail the items to other members of our group. The houses have always been ready at 4:00. There are enough paper (trash bags, etc) and cleaning supplies (dish washing soap) to get through the week. Every time we have called with a service request, we have seen results on the same day. This year the grill was nonfunctional. Destination Vacations had their handy man out the same day as our call to check the item and the grill was replaced the next day.

It was a perfect week with family. From booking to departure everything went smoothly. The house met our needs. Loved the size of the pool! Our only suggestions would be a larger dishwasher if possible and smaller, lighter weight non fabric chairs around the dining table. Not critics but would be nice improvements . Other than that everything was great!!!!

I really appreciated Destination Vacation sending the welcome pack before we arrived. It was so nice not to stop and get keys or a gate pass! We had an issue with the coffee maker while we were there, and they brought us a brand new one within hours of emailing. Thanks for the great trip!!

Everything was great. Home was great. We called maintenance and they promptly came out and resolved the two minor issues we had.
