14 Sandhill Crane is a spacious 3rd Row Sea Pines vacation home with 5 bedrooms, 4 baths, large private pool and the perfect location directly on the beach path. This home sleeps up to 16 guests and is decorated beautifully so that you will feel like you're on vacation the second you arrive!

The front door of the home leads to the main living room on the 2nd floor of the home. The living room features a large flat screen TV and the comfortable furniture and breakfast (game) table will provide hours of relaxation with family and friends. Also included on this floor are the dining room (8 seats), kitchen, grilling deck with patio furniture and two bedrooms. The master suite features a king bed and full bath (renovated in 2024!) with separate tub and walk-in shower, and the guest bedroom on this floor features a queen bed with full bath (walk-in shower).

The first floor of the home features more common areas and bedrooms and utility rooms. The large living room features comfortable couches, mounted flat screen TV, wet bar and a full size pool table for hours of competition and fun! The bedrooms include a 2 queens suite with full bath (walk-in shower), king bedroom with full bath (walk-in shower) and kids room with 2 sets of bunk beds. Guest must pass through the laundry room to get to the bunk room, and the bunk room does not have a bathroom, so guests in this room will need to use a bathroom in one of the guest bedrooms on this level. All 3 bedrooms have mounted flat screen TVs and the laundry room features a full size washer, dryer and refrigerator.

Amenities at 14 Sandhill Crane include convenient beach access with the paved beach path directly behind the home. The large swimming pool is a focal point of the home's exterior with plenty of patio furniture and umbrellas for shade, and a gas grill is included with fuel. Wireless internet is available at no cost to guests and the home is outfitted with cable TV and Roku TVs in all bedrooms.

The location within Sea Pines offers a world-class vacation resort outside your front door with pristine beaches, miles of biking trails, Lawton Stables with live petting zoo, public golf courses, including Harbour Town Golf Links, Racquet Clubs, shopping, restaurants and fully operational marinas in Harbour Town and South Beach with water sports, fishing charters and live entertainment. Most Sea Pines amenities are open to the public, but some may have parking fees or seasonal rates as determined by the resort. 14 Sandhill Crane is an awesome place to stay. The home is very spacious and the pool is large enough to accommodate the number of guests for the home. The kitchen is awesomely equipped with all the 'needs' to cook for a large group. Everyone in our group mentioned that the beds were very comfortable. The house was clean, it has awesome windows to let the sun shine in, as well as, nice shades to keep the sun out. The recreation room is set up very nice and we used it every evening. I'd recommend this home for a large group visiting the Sea Pines area.

14 Sandhill Crane was perfect for our family. The home is in a beautiful setting that is surrounded by other elegant homes, so we felt secluded, yet we were just a short bike ride from restaurants, shopping, outdoor bars, golfing, etc. The pool is fantastic and the beach is a short 2-min stroll along a private sidewalk right beside the house. The house was nice and the kitchen was great for cooking family meals. We especially liked the main family room upstairs and large rec room downstairs for hanging out, and all the beautiful bedrooms and secret bunkbed room made it easy to get great sleep. Looking forward to coming back.

We have vacationed at HHI for many years and this year was right on target. Wonderful house/accommodations, the welcome gift from owner was a nice touch. I would recommend some markings on outside steps for safety purposes. We are used to elevating our feet when sitting, a recliner or ottomans would be a nice added touch. But overall the house was wonderful and had everything we needed. Good memories made once again!

Thank you for making our first visit to Hilton Head Island "complication free". We had a great time and your service was excellent. The house was wonderful with so many amenities, very clean and such an easy walk to the beach. I would suggest that the owners of 14 Sandhill Crane install a grab bar in the master shower and maybe one when you exit the shower. Very slippery. Pool could have been cleaned more often -- that huge pine tree left quite a mess daily, but we have a pool and are used to using the net. All in all, we had a great time and will consider staying at the property again.

The house and pool were very clean! They have so many amenities! Great home and location. They might want to put a sign about how to use the stove. Due to the pandemic we stayed at the house, pool, and ocean except for grocery pick up. It was wonderful to be is such a nice home!

First of all, we were really impressed with DV's follow up and organization for information, planning, and advice throughout the process of finding, selecting and planning before AND thru the actual staying event. This was our first time to HHI and we are really pleased and discussing a potential return again next year. The home was wonderful! We did not have the experience to appreciate how great this home would be. It gave us all the privacy and space we needed to handle Covid concerns, outstanding swimming pool for all ages to use, and was less than a minute's walk to be on the beach! The house was totally equipped for cooking, linens, towels, games, books, internet. We used most of it as one of our family members is a professional chef. We grilled seafood 3 times as well as steaks and ribs and only ate out 2 times. Sea Pines was an excellent location for us. We used the whole house for 13 people but the upstairs was definitely used the most. Upstairs patio was great for grilling and quiet coffee drinking in the mornings. We really loved the beautiful trees and even saw deer in the yard one night when we were coming back from Harbor Town. Possible improvements would be different color/contrast lines at the edges of the steps to improve low light visibility of steps at night as we were down to the pool and beach numerous times in the evenings for moonrises, swimming, and for sunrises. A utility half bathroom would be nice in the upstairs living room. A full bathroom for the bunk bedroom would be a nice addition.

We had rented in Sea Pines before, more than a few times, but 14 Sandhill Crane quickly became our favorite landing spot of them all...and it wasn't too hard to come to that conclusion. The place is stocked with everything you could possibly need (indoor and outdoor activities) and the owners clearly maintain the property like it's their permanent residence. Our plan was to stick around the house as much as we could due to the ongoing pandemic, and the perfect accommodations made that decision all the more easier to stick with. Our "family" of 10 will be coming back, without doubt! Top-notch house.

We had a wonderful week on Hilton Head celebrating a wedding. We had 3 families in the home. It was a perfect size. We were especially impressed with all of the extras included in the home - the beach towels, first aid kit, sewing kit, coolers, well-stocked kitchen and bar. I've rented many homes on HHI, and have never had many of these included items. Nice touch. thank you!

We have usually stayed at Lands End 1 but decided to try 14 Sand hill Crane this year. Lovely home with nice open floor plan, lots of windows, well stocked kitchen, nice furniture, easy walk to beach, nice size pool, liked all the games to play. Our family really enjoyed your home. It is very obvious that you have really gone to a lot of trouble to make everything so comfortable. Our 5 grandchildren (7 – 16) have really enjoyed the pool and the spacious family areas. We cook almost all week and were excited to find a kitchen as well equipped as yours. We did discover that your oven racks were in backwards, so yes, we turned them around. You prepared for all contingencies (coolers, towels, toys, books, etc.). Thank you!

The service continues to improve each time we use Destination Vacation. The website is extremely easy to use and very effective in finding the best options for your particular situation. Excellent email communication throughout with the main office, and of course, great welcome packet. Our home was awesome. Loved the location, the great pool (w/privacy), large open floor plan, a downstairs open area with great pool table/extra fridge, plenty of beds, well stocked with everything you could possibly need, well labeled, and just simply a fantastic home. Really hard to think of anything to improve upon...it was definitely our favorite place thus far to stay. With that said, I know you cannot guarantee what's going to be there per beach chairs/toys, but that would have been nice...for they were loaded. Lots of great beach towels, coolers, and many other things...all of which would have been nice to know about before coming...but I know probably hard to do. A great overall stay...would definitely come back!

We’ve been vacationing on the Island for years and owned a condo in Palmetto Dunes for years. For our past several visits we have been renting in Sea Pines. The first time on Baynard Creek prior to any grandchildren being born, the next time closer to the beach but not on the Oceanside. This time with two grandchildren and our adult grandchildren we decided to get closer to the water. We loved the home and how well equipped it was for playing at the beach as well as cooking. (we usually only eat at a restaurant one night on a trip like this). The kids bunk room in the back was a great place to tuck them away for the night. We brought our own gate for the top of the stairs when they were upstairs. A mirror in the master bedroom would be helpful, I’m not sure about the others. The biggest problem everyone had was working the remotes in the family room. By the last night we couldn’t get the cable device to turn on no matter what we tried. Great vacation and will most likely look to book again but a lot of schedules have to align for us to need this much space (for now...).

I have been renting homes in Sea Pines for 15 years and this home was one of the best. What set this home apart were all the additional amenities. Available for our use were items like 3 sizes of coolers, a ton of board games, extra beach towels, chairs and pool/beach toys. This was a true beach home loaded with a ton of extras. That coupled with a great layout and location made this a really great home. The only improvement I would make would be to add an ice machine. As for service, it was smooth, easy and informative. Very well done!
