8 Spotted Sandpiper is the perfect family vacation rental home with a premier Sea Pines location, large great room for gathering and separate den for additional living space. The ocean is close enough to see from this third row location, which is directly on the beach path so beach access is an easy walk. The first level has a den with TV, DVD and access to the swimming pool that can be heated for an additional charge, one bedroom with a King-size bed, flat screen TV and private bath. The second level has three bedrooms along with the great room ideal for gathering which is a combination of the living room, dining room and kitchen. The living area is equipped with a flat screen TV and DVD player.

Sea Pines is a world-class vacation resort with pristine beaches, miles of biking trails, Lawton Stables with live petting zoo, public golf courses, including Harbour Town Golf Links, Racquet Clubs, shopping, restaurants and fully operational marinas in Harbour Town and South Beach with water sports, fishing charters and live entertainment. Most Sea Pines amenities are open to the public, but some may have parking fees or seasonal rates as determined by the resort. Please be advised, Sea Pines is a developing area with new construction taking place on most streets at any given time. Please call Destination Vacation if you have any questions.

We were very surprised and very pleased by the fleshly painted, outside and inside, and landscaping around the pool of 8 Spotted Sandpiper, It was like staying in a brand new home.

Destination Vacation does a great job and have fixed any issue we’ve had during our stays over the years. The house has a great location, easy walk to the beach and it’s the perfect distance from Coast restaurant and the Marriott to be able to walk for a bite or drink. As for the accommodations which are more traditional than luxury. We have young children so luxury isn’t a priority for us and for that the house was also great. A few recommendations that would have made our stay perfect: 1). There needs to be more storage for cooked food. There was one small tuberware for the entire house. 2) The house lacks basic cooking ingredients like salt/pepper/cooking spray which was interesting. I guess some could say it’s not sanitary in a post Covid world but I’ve rented other houses over the last 12-18 months that include these items. 3) The stepping stones from the pool to the beach path is missing some stones. This can be inconvenient and challenging when little kids don’t want to walk on the pines. Not a deal breaker but also not a huge investment but would have a large return in ease. None of these disrupted our stay but they’re small changes that could go a long way for future guests. Thanks DV team once again.
