26 Surf Scoter ~ Sea Pines

Located 2nd Row Oceanside on the Atlantic Ocean, 26 Surf Scoter is a beautiful 7-bedroom home that features 3 master suites with private bathrooms and balconies, all-weather Carolina Room, furnished outdoor deck, private pool and spa, 4-car garage and bedding for up to 16 guests.

The 1st floor of this home is an open floorplan with a gourmet kitchen that opens to the great room. The kitchen features 2 ovens, granite countertops and a large center island. There are three bedrooms on the main level, including two bedrooms which have 2 twin beds each sharing a Jack and Jill bathroom. The third bedroom is a master suite with a king bed and private deck. The master bathroom has granite counter tops, double sinks and a large shower. A separate office and a large laundry room are also located on this level.

The second floor features four bedrooms and a separate sitting area with sleeper sofa, chair and mounted flat screen TV. Two of these bedrooms are master suites with a king bed, private deck and large updated bathrooms with walk-in showers. The third bedroom on this level features a king bed and private bathroom with double vanity and shower/tub combination, and the fourth bedroom features 2 twin beds and a private bathroom with single vanity and shower/tub combination.

Amenities at 26 Surf Scoter include Surround Sound speakers throughout the outside patio and living areas, private pool, heated spa and paver pool deck with chaise lounge chairs and sling chairs. Spa heat is included with your rental and the pool can be heated for an additional fee. The outdoor living area above the pool area is a fully furnished covered patio with sofa, chairs, dining table and grill. Below the home (new in 2019) is a fully furnished room with ping pong table, bar table and bar chairs, sofa, love seat and swivel chair. This room is the perfect retreat for relaxation, reading, eating or indulging in your own family games. The main home is outfitted with cable and flat screen TVs, and wireless internet is available at no cost to guests. The home features keyless access and the garage is available for guest use. Got any tennis players in your family? This home also comes with a tennis membership at South Beach Racquet Club, so you and your guests can enjoy an hour of free court time each day of your vacation! Sea Pines Racquet Club is a bike ride or short car ride from 26 Surf Scoter. In addition, paying guest reservations staying between 4-21 nights will receive VayK Life beach/bike gear credit. This will be emailed to you after making a reservation and is valid for VayK Life rentals only. *Please note: Due to safety concerns, fireplace is non-functioning inside the home.

Sea Pines is a world-class vacation resort with pristine beaches, miles of biking trails, Lawton Stables with live petting zoo, public golf courses, including Harbour Town Golf Links, Racquet Clubs, shopping, restaurants and fully operational marinas in Harbour Town and South Beach with water sports, fishing charters and live entertainment.

Everything from booking to services needed during our stay was exceptional. We have been visiting the island for 30+ years, staying at different properties and renting from various companies. Destination Vacation rather blows them all away - the house was almost perfect - the not working tv was replaced as quickly as possible and the pool pump problem was also handled faster than we expected it to be. We thought we were going to lose our last day for the pool, but were surprised it was repaired before the end of the day. Would have rated the house "exceeds expectations" but for those two things. We've never had no problem with any house we've stayed in - but can say that every person we spoke with at Destination Vacation was just a delight. Kudos to them all! Outside of the two issues the house was one of the best we've ever rented. It was so well appointed - there was truly nothing we lacked. They even had beach towels for our use - and as we had a large group, this was such a nice unexpected touch. Every refrigerator worked (this has NOT been our experience with other properties) so we were also happy for that. Can honestly say Destination Vacation will be our first stop when planning our future trips. I hope you can keep up the great work.

Second time that we have stayed in this home. It was the perfect place for the 12 of us. The home does seem to need some work though, which we sent an email outlining some of the things that should be addressed. Everyone that we spoke with at Destination Vacations has been great to deal with. Would highly recommend!

Everything was wonderful. Everyone kept discovering new things to share. Lower area by the pool was fabulous. Plenty of refrigerators. Everything we needed in the kitchen was there. We were constantly comparing this to the one we rented for three years. Many “WOWs” and chuckles. Our ages ranged from 6 to 80, with 16 in total. Everyone was happy and satisfied. My husband and I would have loved a grab bar in our shower, though. Haha Kay Braun. Haha

The home was beautiful and exceed our expectations. The staff at Destination Vacation was extremely helpful with preparing for our trip and helping solve internet and AC issues while staying in the house. The best part of this house was the outdoor seating/covered area by the pool. The kids and adults could all be together and made many memories! Everything in this house was perfectly planned. 26 Surf Scoter was perfect for our family. Nicely appointed, plenty of room. The entire family really enjoyed the downstairs area by the pool, especially the ping pong table. The location is perfect, very short walk to the beach. We found everything that we needed in the kitchen - the only suggestion might be a few more cutting boards. Destination Vacation was very responsive when we needed them, which wasn’t very often. Due to the coronavirus, we wanted a place where we could stay in place and still enjoy ourselves, and this home really fit that need.

The property was amazing! So clean, well stocked kitchen, and great location to the beach. Plenty of room for the 12 of us and the “man cave” below the house was fantastic even when it was raining We celebrated my mom’s 80th birthday in style! We loved the House and was perfect for our three families. The new area below the house adjacent to the outdoor pool blew us away!! The kids hung out there all week.
