Sea Pines Oceanfront! With understated architectural intrigue and a private, well-manicured oceanfront lot, 26 Green Heron is a special vacation getaway with one of the prettiest views of the ocean in Sea Pines. Professionally decorated and updated in 2021, 26 Green Heron features all new furnishings with a Coastal Clean look. The home offers 5 bedrooms, 5.5 baths, a private den with Sleeper Sofa and bedding for up to 17 guests.

This home offers a unique setting which is apparent as soon as you step from the front driveway to the meandering walkways that take you past the outdoor putting green, through the live oaks and down to the large private pool surrounded by lush landscaping and ocean breezes. The outdoor areas are the highlight of the home with multiple levels of furnished patios taking in the ocean views from different perspectives.

Step inside this unique one-level home and you feel like you are entering a quaint cottage with a coastal flair. The home has been professionally decorated in a way that feels updated while preserving the wood beams and character of the original structure. Multiple living spaces offer plenty of room to spread out from the living room to the sun porch and other sitting nooks in common areas.

The beautiful bedrooms have access to full baths, designed for comfort and privacy. The main home has 4 bedrooms, including a master suite with king bed, ocean view and full bath with walk-in shower and a guest suite with king bed, ocean view and full bath with walk-in shower. The other bedrooms in the main home include a guest suite with king bed and full bath with shower/tub combination and a bunk bedroom with a full hall bath right outside the door that also features a shower/tub combination. The bunk beds have twins on top, full mattresses on bottom and one of them has a twin trundle underneath. There is also a private den with a queen sleeper sofa, and guests of this bedroom can use a powder room (half bath) or the full bath in the hallway outside the bunk room.

The 5th bedroom, Cottage Suite, is actually under the same roof as the detached garage and features 2 queen beds and a full bath with shower/tub combination. This suite includes a coffee maker and beverage cooler for your convenience.

The home offers wireless internet throughout, gas grill, private swimming pool (can be heated for an additional fee) and a spa that can be turned on/off manually throughout your stay.

Sea Pines is a world-class vacation resort with pristine beaches, miles of biking trails, Lawton Stables with live petting zoo, public golf courses, including Harbour Town Golf Links, Racquet Clubs, shopping, restaurants and fully operational marinas in Harbour Town and South Beach with water sports, fishing charters and live entertainment.

We received the services of the overall house rental and the rental of beach equipment from VayKay. We rented the house last year, so we knew what the house offered, and it did not disappoint even with a new grandchild since we stayed last year. The one question mark we had about returning to the house (which obviously was not enough to keep us from renting it again) was the AC, particularly in the two bedrooms of the hallway as you enter the house. It seemed to us that the AC functioned much better this year, as both the temperature and level of humidity were noticeably better than what we experienced last year. Location is tremendous given its oceanfront spot, with very easy to access groceries, take out, restaurants, etc. While the house is obviously older than many of the oceanfront homes, the floor plan works very well for grandparents, parents and little ones, and the house is just comfortable, and much more so than some of the newer constructed houses that are available. The pool is clean, well maintained and practical given its multiple levels - a highlight for both the kids and adults. We identified only one maintenance issue - in the hallway bathroom that has the tub/shower, the hot water control needs a great deal of trial and error to get hot water out of it. We've been vacationing on HHI for 40 years, and owned a home in SeaPines for about 10 years, and the experiences available in SeaPines and HHI never seem to disappoint. Thank you for your good work, and we hope you'll thank the owners on our behalf for making their house available and so comfortable.

Well maintained home exceptionally equipped and furnished. Pool was awesome. Our family of 9 thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Sun room table was ideal for completing our vacation puzzle. Easy walk to beach. Liked the bedroom arrangement for our multi-generational group with different sleep schedules.Destination Vacation was outstanding in communicating visit details and responding to minor issues. Boardwalk may need some additional repair in the future.

First stay at 26 Green Heron - loved it. (This was our 43rd year going to Hilton Head and probably the 12th or 14th property we've rented over the years.) Fit our families needs perfectly for this trip. Highly recommend this house for those wanting oceanfront living and relaxing.

26 Green Heron was the perfect place for our family to gather to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary! Everything was spotless. The kitchen was stocked with all we could have wanted. Location on the ocean was perfect. The heated pool and hot tub was used every day, even in the cooler November weather. The extra suite was perfect for privacy for one couple. We just loved everything about this property. After coming to Hilton Head annually since 1972 this was the best yet!
