Welcome to 16 Grey Widgeon in Sea Pines! This beautiful oceanfront home was completely renovated in 2020 and offers gorgeous views, beach access, private pool and spa, 6 bedrooms + a private Sleeper Sofa den and bedding for up to 24 guests.

Upon entering 16 Grey Widgeon, the living room welcomes you with high ceilings, professionally selected furnishings and large windows with views of the pool and ocean. Multiple doors in the living room and dining area provide access to the furnished oceanfront pool decks, and the open floorplan includes the kitchen and dining areas adjacent to the living room. The kitchen is modern with granite countertops, center island with prep sink, gas range, double ovens and stainless steel refrigerator. The dining area features a large table for 8 and sliding glass doors to a furnished oceanfront porch with built-in gas grill and grilling station. Additional dining seating is located in the living room with 3 separate tables that seat a total of 8 guests and 4 bar stools at the kitchen counter.

The bedrooms at 16 Grey Widgeon include a master suite and private sleeper sofa den on the main level and 5 bedroom suites upstairs. The 1st floor master suite features a king bed, chair that converts to a single sleeper, oceanfront patio with ceiling fan and large bathroom with double vanities, separate tub and walk-in shower. The upstairs bedrooms include a top floor master suite with a king bed, daybed and sleeper sofa, private oceanfront balcony and large bathroom with double vanity, separate tub and walk-in shower. Two additional oceanfront suites offer private balconies with sweeping ocean views and private baths. One of these suites has a king bed and single sleeper with a separate tub and walk-in shower in the bathroom, and the other has a king bed and single sleeper and daybed and private bath with a walk-in shower. The fifth bedroom suite features 2 queen beds and a full bath with walk-in shower, and the 6th bedroom suite is a bunk bedroom with 2 bunk beds (Twin over Queen mattresses), sleeper sofa and private bath with shower/tub combination.

16 Grey Widgeon is the perfect blend of coastal elegance, oceanfront beach living and highly sought amenities. The pool, spa and beach offer unprecedented recreation amenities while the furnished porches and balconies, free Wifi throughout the home and TV's in all bedrooms and living room satisfy relaxation and down-time amenities. Sea Pines is a world-class vacation resort with pristine beaches, miles of biking trails, Lawton Stables with live petting zoo, public golf courses, including Harbour Town Golf Links, Racquet Clubs, shopping, restaurants and fully operational marinas in Harbour Town and South Beach with water sports, fishing charters and live entertainment. Most Sea Pines amenities are open to the public, but some may have parking fees or seasonal rates as determined by the resort. Our second time at 16 Grey Widgeon proved to be even better than our first visit in 2022. We had a couple of needs while there, i.e. LP tank refills, and the company took care of them right away. Weekly workers came as per schedule and kept the pool clean, etc. Pool was warm and hot tub was perfect.

Wonderful house! Especially love the layout with so many bedrooms having an ocean view. Outdoor areas- sitting, dining and pool/spa were perfect. Always love Sea Pines! Appreciated that the house had Spectrum Cable! Especially with NCAA basketball on. Kitchen was well stocked and outfitted. Grateful for several different types of coffee makers. Suggestions- area rug for downstairs living area would really help with noise. Some kind of lamp (floor or table) either beside small window table or in TV sitting area would be very helpful for reading in the evenings. A place to hang hand towels in the top bath. A couple of small things we found when we arrived that may need checking: -door to outside patio sticks when trying to open -Top floor shower not draining well -Bocci balls- blue is chipped -Horizontal scratches On large back window beside table.

Really impressed with the accommodations we booked and the property was exactly as described and shared via pictures on the website. The service provided by Destination Vacations was superb. The few issues that arose during our stay was promptly addressed by the customer support team. The location of this property was excellent. It was Ocean Front property with a private pool and spa with an incredible view. The layout of the home was great for large groups or families with very open views and large sitting areas. The home was very well equipped with reliable Wifi service, smart TV's, two refrigerators and laundry. The home also had plenty of areas to do business or work (important in our COVID environment right now) that provided for a seamless way to stay connected if guests still needed to do work. The references provided for services available in the area (Sea Pines) was excellent. Bike rentals was easy and convenient. Plenty of nearby restaurants and eating establishments to choose from, even Chef recommendations for private catered dinners. I would definitely visit this property again and recommend Destination Vacations to my friends, family and colleagues.

We loved the home we stayed in. Everything was wonderful. One suggestion though would be to lower the water temperature just a little. The water in the kitchen was extremely hot. Dealing with the Destination Vacation people is always pleasant and they make everything easy for the guests. One special feature about this house we really enjoyed was having a half bathroom accessible from the outside. We had several young grandchildren and this was ideal.
