If you are on Hilton Head for the 4th of July, here are some activities to enjoy and places to watch the fireworks!
Harbour Town’s 4th of July Fireworks in Sea Pines – There is a $10 gate fee to enter the resort (unless you are a resident or a guest staying on the resort), and a free shuttle service will be offered between Harbour Town and various parking lots in the Sea Pines Resort. No coolers allowed. Fireworks begin around 9:00p over the Calibogue Sound.
Shelter Cove Marina July 4th Fireworks - Children's activities, food and drinks, and a spectacular fireworks show at dusk at Broad Creek. For full event details, visit Shelter Cove's July 4th celebration website. Addtional parking outside of Shelter Cove will be avaliable, with free shuttles running from both locations.
Off the beaten path…places to watch the 4th of July Fireworks on Hilton Head Island
Calibogue Sound – Charter a boat from Harbour Town Marina or Shelter Cove Marina. Calibogue Sound and Broad Creek offer incredible vantage points to watch 3 locations of fireworks displays.
Harbourtown 18th Hole – Go to the shoreline of the 18th Fairway and you will discover one of the best vistas for Harbourtown and Shelter Cove Fireworks. Walk the cart path of the Harbour Town Golf Course until you reach the 18th hole.
South Beach– At the end of the beach where the sand stops and the entrance to South Beach Marina enters from the Calibogue Sound is a great place to watch Harbourtown Fireworks.
Daufuskie Island – It’s amazing to watch the Hilton Head Fireworks from the beach on Daufuskie Island. Bring your lawn chairs, put your feet in the sand and let the kids have a blast. These are front row seats to the fireworks.

Up the Creek Pub and Grill – A great location to watch the Shelter Cove fireworks and in the distance see Harbourtown fireworks.
