9 Royal Tern is a beautiful, 6-bedroom, 2nd Row Sea Pines home that sleeps 21-23 guests. Highlights include the upper deck with ocean view, expansive pool area with privacy fence and spa, and spacious bedrooms with private baths. 9 Royal Tern is a stone's throw from Hilton Head's finest stretch of beach along the Atlantic Ocean, and the natural beauty and scenery of the Royal Tern neighborhood is unparalleled.

9 Royal Tern offers incredible amenities including free wireless internet access, 55" mounted flat screen TV with DVR in the living room, televisions and DVD players in the bedrooms and full-size ping pong table in garage.

The ground level features 3 guest bedrooms: The first bedroom has a King bed, slider doors and view of the pool, 37" mounted flat screen and private bath. The second guest bedroom has 3 Twin beds, TV and private bath, and the third guest bedroom has 2 bunk beds with trundles (sleeps 6), comfy sleeper sofa (sleeps 1-2) and 37" mounted flat screen.

The 2nd level features a beautiful kitchen with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, including double ovens, large pantry and breakfast table for up to 8 guests. The Dining Room is adjacent to the kitchen and opens up to the large living room with cathedral ceilings, stone fireplace, 55" mounted flat screen (with DVR), access doors to the upper deck and views of the ocean. The upper deck is a guest favorite among those who value a peaceful and natural setting. The deck overlooks the pool area with an ocean view in the distance and is equipped with gas grill, umbrella table and 8 chairs.

The 2nd level bedrooms include the Master Bedroom with King bed and daybed/trundle, access to the upper deck overlooking the pool, and Master Bath with double vanity, 5-shower head spa shower and separate Jacuzzi tub. The other 2 bedrooms on this floor have a King bed in one bedroom and 2 Queen beds in the other. Both of these bedrooms each have 37" mounted flat screens and full baths.

The large pool deck is surrounded by a privacy fence, and furnishings include 4 chaise lounges and an umbrella table for 8 guests. The pool is 15' x 25' and the spa can accommodate 6-8 people. Spa heat is included with all rentals and the pool can be heated for an additional charge.

This Sea Pines beach home is just a short walk to the water, sun and sand. Sea Pines is a world-class vacation resort with pristine beaches, miles of biking trails, Lawton Stables with live petting zoo, public golf courses, including Harbour Town Golf Links, Racquet Clubs, shopping, restaurants and fully operational marinas in Harbour Town and South Beach with water sports, fishing charters and live entertainment. Most Sea Pines amenities are open to the public, but some may have parking fees or seasonal rates as determined by the resort. We love nine Royal Tern and the house was in perfect shape when we arrived. Everything was extremely clean and sanitized and we love the furnishings and the general layout is great for a family. We had a few questions and things that needed to be addressed and when we called Destiination vacation they handled all of our questions quickly and politely. We really recommend this wonderful home for vacation on the beach.

Excellent communication booking and prior to arrival (2nd time in three years). Suited our families and as anticipated/expected. Location was suburb,accommodations beyond expectations, specially internet connections ( with dozens of family - ALL connected to the internet - that's a paramount amenity). TV's were great in every room but virtually never watched (Grandma wanted the "Weather Channel" in the Great Room...other than that, no need) Amenities, location, facilities, communication & response to a clogged drain...excellent but that's also why we spent $10K for a weeks vacation!!!!

This was our 6th or 7th visit to 9 Royal Tern and our 28th family trip to HHI. 9 Royal Tern was the cleanest that it ever has been. The bathrooms were spotless. We appreciate the few improvements that the homeowners have made. We really enjoy being so close to the beach. The new grill was very nice, Thank You! I think the pool/spa area is our favorite hang out area. Our growing changing family has young adults coming and going a few days at a time. It’s nice to have space for everyone. Thank you for sharing your home with us! Gail called the first day from DV to welcome us. DV’s Service this year was excellent. Including after our checkout, my sister-in-law realized she left her jewelry case in the bathroom. Within an hour, Brian calls me back, has the case in hand and offers to mail it to her. You cannot get better service than that. Thank You! A few improvements or suggestions: A big ice maker would be great. Add a door to the master bathroom on the main floor. Black out shades or curtains in some of the rooms.

This is the first time we have rented a house for a family vacation. It could not have been any better. Being 2nd row made it very easy to get to the beach. If we weren’t on the beach, we were in the pool! The kids (of all ages) liked the basketball hoop poolside. When we weren’t doing water activities, we were on the bike paths in Sea Pines. There were younger kids so being on the paths made it safer for them. We rented from Peddling Pelicans. Bikes were delivered to the house the day we arrived & picked up the day of departure at no extra cost. We had 13 people so had plenty of beds and baths to accommodate all of us. The kitchen was FANTASTIC! Anything we needed to cook with or serve food on was there!! Having the extra refrigerator in the garage was very helpful to store drinks and extra food items. We loved that the garbage service was frequent!! And having the laundry room helped so much. Also having the combination lock made it sooooo easy. No keys to keep up with or lose! It was simply a week we won’t forget! Lots of great memories.

The home at 9 Royal Tern certainly met our expectations. It was very clean and comfortably accommodated our family of 14. Easy beach access was perfect and the in ground pool got a lot of use. The kitchen is well equipped, but smaller than you would expect in a home that accommodates large groups. The second refrigerator in the garage was helpful. It would be a nice addition if there were two washers and dryers for the large groups this home accommodates. In addition to easy beach access, the location was very quiet and private. The booking process was efficient and additional questions were quickly responded to. Our family would certainly rent this home again.

Just spent a wonderful week at 9 Royal Tern which is located in a very beautifully landscaped and amazingly peaceful area. We vacationed with another family and found the house layout to be perfect for multiple families. The house was very clean and stocked for our arrival. bedrooms and bathrooms were situated on both floors throughout the house allowing for private and quiet spaces for relaxing/sleeping. The kitchen was better equipped than ours at home and we easily located all of the items we needed to make multiple meals at the house. The backyard space contains a nice pool/spa for the kids to enjoy while the parents watch from the upstairs deck while enjoying a nice view of the ocean. The ocean was a very short walk away and the beaches were pristine. Highly recommend this house for a family reunion / multi-family beach vacation.

We just recently stayed at 9 Royal Tern in Sea Pines and it was amazing to say the least. The house is a very short walk to the beach and the beach is beautiful white sand. The house is located on a quiet cul de sac which was perfect to step away from reality for a while. Each room is large and the kitchen is extremely well equipped for renters. The kids really enjoyed the pool and it was fun for the adults to watch them swimming from the upper deck. Would definitely stay at this house again...Thank you!!!
