Located just inside the Ocean Gate of Sea Pines and just 4 rows from the sandy beaches of the Atlantic Ocean, 22 Ruddy Turnstone features 4 bedrooms, 4.5 baths, resort-style pool and garage. High end appointments are balanced with comfortable furniture and an open floorplan with 4 en-suite bedrooms and bedding for up to 12 guests.

The front door of the home leads to the main living room of the home. The living room's floor to ceiling windows will immediately grab your attention with views of the spectacular fully furnished pool deck in the background and natural light bathing the interior furnishings. These windows feature one-touch electric blinds, and the 65" mounted TV, comfortable furniture and wet bar will provide hours of relaxation with family and friends. Also included on this floor are the dining room, fully renovated kitchen (2021) with upgraded stainless appliances, gas range and quartz countertops, breakfast table, den, fully renovated half bath with the most unique curved shiplap wall you will ever see, and separate laundry room with spare refrigerator. The den is a Great Room extending off the kitchen and features a sectional couch with mounted flat screen TV. The den also offers views of the pool and direct access to the pool deck with gas grill.

The master suite is mid-way up the staircase to the second floor. The master features a king bed, walk-in closet, flat screen TV and large en-suite bath with separate tub and shower. The remaining bedrooms are located on the 2nd floor with two king bedroom suites and a bedroom suite with 2 sets of built-in bunk beds (Twin/Queen mattresses). All bedrooms include flat screen TVs and cable service. Wireless internet is also available throughout the home at no cost to guests.

The pool and pool deck at 22 Ruddy Turnstone are the premier highlights of the home, and in a word, they are exceptional! The pool deck is made of Italian porcelain, which keeps its cool in the direct sun and keeps its texture when wet. Mounted umbrellas provide shade and comfort to living space with sectional couch and coffee table and a full size dining table with chairs. This living space will be enjoyed day or night due to the shade that is provided and the resort atmosphere that exists. There is also a bar area with seating, built-in grill and beverage cooler for your convenience. The pool is large enough for your entire family to enjoy and features an underwater shelf for seating. The pool has an electric heater and can be heated for an additional charge with advance notice. Chaise lounges are provided for poolside relaxation, and the pool deck also leads to a clearly defined pathway to the beach, which is an easy walk for any age. When you return from the beach, a private, fenced-in shower has been installed with hot and cold water for your convenience. The pool is surrounded by privacy landscaping, and the bar area, covered dining table and covered living space provide the perfect setting for entertaining, dining, reading or relaxing.

In addition to the quality appointments mentioned above, the owners of 22 Ruddy Turnstone place a high value on air quality within the home and in 2021 added a UV Germicidal Air Purifier on all of the HVAC units. The UV air purifier keeps all of the coils in the air conditioning units clean of biological growth, including bacteria, viruses and fungi.

Sea Pines is a world-class vacation resort with pristine beaches, miles of biking trails, Lawton Stables with live petting zoo, public golf courses, including Harbour Town Golf Links, Racquet Clubs, shopping, restaurants and fully operational marinas in Harbour Town and South Beach with water sports, fishing charters and live entertainment. Most Sea Pines amenities are open to the public, but some may have parking fees or seasonal rates as determined by the resort. My family and I really enjoyed our house at 22 Ruddy Turnstone. House was exceptional. Plenty of room in this 4 BR 4 bath house for our 8 adults and 4 children. Online description was accurate as this place was tastefully decorated like a beach house. Master BR was great with so much room. Small area with couch and TV off kitchen allowed the kids to hang out and watch TV while adults stayed in main LR to watch their TV or hang out. The pool area was our favorite spot. So much room with plenty of lounge chairs, couch and umbrellas. The kids never wanted to leave pool. Pool area surface gets slippery when wet so we had to caution kids not to run. Close walk to access beach was a plus. We have been coming to HH for years and this place was definitely our favorite. Destination Vacation was so helpful answering questions and responding promptly to a couple of small issues we had. We definitely want to return to this place again for sure.

The home is perfect for our family of ten, the outdoor and indoor living space is well appointed and comfortable...a quick walk/ride to the beach or bike path! The home has everything you need for a wonderful vacation! The staff is very professional, friendly and helpful. This is a 5 star management company and home!

22 Ruddy Turnstone is a beautiful house. It is well appointed. So close to the beach and close to the gate. The pool is fantastic our grand children have a great time here. The home is very private with its own path to the beach path. The people at destination vacation are always available for any needs we had. We love staying within Sea Pines - love the safety of the bike paths, Harbor Town, Salty Dog and visiting the farm. Beaches are clean and always something fun going on at the beach club. The homes with Destination Vacation are clean, the kitchens are stocked and decorated to make you feel at home. Highly recommend them.

22 Ruddy Turnstone-Week of May15-22 Awesome home. Exceptional outdoor space. Well equipped kitchen. Great layout for families. Excellent location and access to beach. Absolutely our favorite home we have stayed in and we have been coming to HHI for 25+ years! The only improvement would be to check the TV connections in the main living area, we had a hard time getting TV to come on much less connect to cable. Also you may want to leave TV instructions in the notebook.

We rented a private home. This home is execellent. It less than a five min walk to the beach. It is very close to the sea pines gate so you don’t have to drive to restaurants, grocery store and other shopping. The pool at this home is great and the kitchen is very well equipped. We like the location and the pool the best. I can’t think of any improvements that would make this home bette. The staff at destination vacation is great and are very fast to answer all questions. We have already booked this home for next year. Thank you for a great time on the best vacation spot ever.

22 Ruddy Turnstone was beautiful and the outdoor space exceptional. The kitchen was very well stocked. It was so nice that each of the four beautifully decorated bedrooms had their own bathrooms. We feel very comfortable booking through Destination Vacations because they are always so receptive and have amazing customer service skills. Gail is always so kind but everyone I spoke with regarding this trip was equally nice. The only suggestion I have for the home is the mattress in the upstairs King room might need replaced as well as the shower head in that bedroom. We had wonderful week on the island!

This home is spectacular, it has the perfect mix of a private pool area close to the ocean (easy nice walk) and an updated comfortable house with plenty of room. Each guest room has a private bathroom which is great for families. Every room has a TV and comfortable beds. Great kitchen with modern appliances and everything you need. My family had a great time and plan on making this a tradition. It is amazing how private the setting is and yet so close to all Sea Pines amenities and easy access to restaurants and shops. What a great pool area with an outdoor kitchen,plenty of comfortable spots, a very relaxing place. We give it a 5 star rating!!

22 Ruddy Turnstone was delightful to stay in. The kitchen was fully stocked, loved the layout of the home, and the best part was the pool and outdoor living area. The house is very well maintained by the owners. Beautiful design and landscaping so private! Upon arrival we learned there would be street construction in front of the house and the driveway would be unavailable Gale worked with us and was willing to accommodate us by moving us to a another location. As always Gale wants us to be happy and satisfied that speaks volumes for Destination Vacation Service. We loved the house and ended up staying so glad we did not move. The only improvement is cleaning needs to be completed by 4pm when guest arrive we had to wait out in our car for 45 minutes for the cleaning lady to finish cleaning the house.

We LOVED 22 Rudy Turnstone. The owners have done a fabulous job with this house. The pool was perfect and all of the seating areas around the pool were awesome. Plus the house and kitchen were incredibly well stocked with whatever we needed for cooking. Probably one of the best houses we have rented and will definitely rent again in the future. Only one small issue- no water pressure in master bath- but other than that 5 stars! Please tell the owners thank you from us- their beautiful home made our vacation perfect!

Manager's Note: Thank you for sharing this wonderful review and bringing the water pressure issue to our attention. Upon evaluation from our licensed plumber, there was a clogged screen in the hot water heater that affected the water pressure. The screen has been cleared and all is working well!
